I hope everyone had a great 2012 and I hope you’re looking forward to everything wonderful that will happen in 2013!
I was reading my goals for 2012 in my New Years post last year to see if I accomplished anything I wanted to this past year. I’ve always known my ideas are very….lofty. You can read about them here.Let’s see how much I accomplished……
#1) Kitchen
The first room I wanted to revamp was my kitchen.

#2 Family Room Built-Ins
It was such a good idea and it IS our next project to complete. BUT I had one of my infamous brainstorms to lay plywood floors and get rid of the awful carpet in the family room first.

#3 Hang pictures and personal items back on the walls.
Okay, now #4 Painting the bonus room (game room) bookcases, #5 Hang cabinetry in the laundry room and #6 Hang beadboard paneling in the upstairs hallway have not been done yet. SURPRISE! SURPRISE!! So now they are on my list of goals for 2013. What do y’all think? Can I do it this year??? Come back and see!
#7 Painting the Staircase and Front Door
You can read about the staircase and front door here. Our next project (after the family room built-ins) is to rip up the carpet on the stairs and put wood stairs. I can’t wait to share it with you!
