We're still working on the laundry room but I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.
We've hung cabinets, crown molding, board & batten wall treatment, made a fun laundry room sign and painted the linoleum floors.
Next, we're building the two legged table that will be the workspace next to the washer and dryer and making the two shelves that will go above the table.
We bought the perfect table to fit the space at the ReStore (you know, my second home!). We had to remove the legs to get it into my truck.
We lightly sanded, conditioned, then stained it a beautiful walnut,
cut the table in half (you can read about my inspiration here),
polyurethaned with four coats waiting two hours in between each coat.
The legs were a dark green so we sanded the legs, wiped them down, primed them and painted with two coats of white trim paint.
For the shelves, we found a couple of pieces of pine board from our family room bookcase leftovers in the garage and cut them down to 12"x48", stained them the same deep walnut as the table,
and after four coats of polyurethane, they're done.
Hopefully, we'll install the table and shelves this week.
Excited to see the progress. It really looks great!!
Hope y'all come back to see the finished product. I can't wait to share it with you.
Until then, have a great week!
Love y'all,
Linda
Looks wonderful! Can't wait to see it all finished.
