APPLE GREEN INSPIRATION

Because I’m decorating my new kitchen with apple green accessories, I’ve had my eye out for any inspiration that I can copy. I’m such a copy-catter!!
Here’s some that I foundI absolutely love these curtains! I looked everywhere for this material but came up empty handed. I think I’ll make my own no-sew curtains .

I absolutely love the white and green. It looks so fresh and clean! Even in a bathroom.
I like the apple green and white together. ~MAA ...Small spaces call for simple solutions. In a Washington D.C. Design Center Showhouse, designer Victoria Neale tucked a crisp white vanity with bowed front next to the door of a charming girl’s bedroom. Narrow, shaded sconces mounted on the mirror frame are functional and fashionable; apple-green walls and a checked valance add pops of color.

I love the green inside the cabinets. We were going to do this in the open shelves above our desk but I wanted to put apple green accessories and you would not be able to see them against the green background.

Here’s some of our kitchen’s apple green accents:
In the background, I already had the baskets and the vase, I bought the apples in the trifle bowl, I bought the candles that smell like key lime pie (YUM!),  and I painted the trim on the shades on the chandelier. You can read about that here.

I needed some wall hangings so I found some pretty pictures on the web and printed them out on photo paper with a mat finish. I took apart the old pictures from the kitchen that didn’t match anymore,

(Old Pictures)

painted the pictures green to match the walls, mod podged the new pictures onto the painted background,   spray painted the existing gold frames white and

VOILA

I also bought two types of curtains from Walmart to go over the sink. I’m going to put them together somehow with my trusty Heat Bond and hopefully come up with something SUPER!

I can’t wait until the kitchen is complete so I can show you the whole thing all staged and pretty! A couple of more steps and we’re golden! (or apple green!)

Hope y’all are having a great week!

Love ya,
Linda
