Top o’ the mornin’ to y’all!
I know I’m a little late with the St. Patty’s Day quote. But coming from the O’Briens on my dad’s side and the McColgans on my mom’s side, we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day all year long!
The countertops are in and I’m doing the happy dance!
We decided to install granite here. We went to the granite warehouse and picked out Kashmir White here.
SOME BEFORE DURING AND AFTERS FOR YOU
AFTER!!!
AFTER!!!!
For anyone in the Raleigh/Cary/Apex area, we worked with The Stone Company and they were great! They aimed to please and were very patient with all our requests.
Me and the girls had fun testing the new sink and sprayer and soap dispenser. Oh the things that make us happy!
The next step will be to beadboard the tile backsplash. And add corbels.
The butcherblock guy is cutting the Roman Ogee edge on our island counter and we’ll install that as soon as he’s done.
Then we’ll add two posts that will be installed under each end of the island overhang.
I see the light at the end of my kitchen tunnel!!
Here’s some more fun pictures of my new countertops
I hope you enjoyed the before and afters. I am ecstatic with my new countertops and sink. I think I may sleep in here tonight!
Good night!
Love ya,
Linda
Wow — everything looks great! We have Kashmir White granite, too…and just love it!! Your kitchen is going to be fabulous!
Thank you so much! I thought your counters were the same. Great minds think alike 😉
You have done a great job. I need to come by and see it especially when you get the bead board up. I had it at my last house when we remodeled the kitchen and would love to have it here, too. We, also, have tile which I hate so I am interested in how it turns out!
Thanks Anne~ I just stand in my kitchen and sigh! I absolutely love it!! Have a great weekend! ~Linda
