Having a baby is one of the most exciting times in a girl's life! For all her friends, the shower is a way to celebrate this exciting time.
I have a dear friend…she's Daughter #1's fourth grade teacher. She was also Son #3 & Son #4's teacher, too. She is expecting her first baby. I think I'm more excited for this baby than the mom. Okay, maybe not, but shopping for her little baby boy-to-be is making me pretty darn excited!!
The class threw her a surprise baby shower!
I wanted to make her something special. Where do you go when you want GREAT ideas?? You guessed it…
PINTEREST!!!
Wow, there are a lot of great ideas out there. People are so creative!! And like I've always told you,
I'M A GREAT COPIER!!
I saw this wonderful idea!
It's a diaper wreath. How cool is that??!!
So off to Target and AC Moore I went.
I bought a wreath holder.
I also bought a pack of diapers, different patterned ribbon, a wooden letter L(for the baby's first name), and a fun assortment of baby items. I wanted to keep with a blue theme so everything has some blue on it.
I wrapped the diapers around the wreath holder with rubberbands.
I then wrapped thin blue ribbon around the rubber bands into bows. At every third diaper, I tied an "It's a Boy" ribbon along with each small baby item I bought. I tied a large blue and teal ribbon on the top of the wreath and added the white wood L letter to the ribbon.
And the final result
Just got home from the surprise baby shower. Mama was so surprised and she loved the wreath.
I love putting a smile on her face!!!
Hope y'all enjoy your Memorial Day Weekend. I am thankful for all the men and women who have given their lives to keep our freedom.
God Bless You!
Love y'all,
Linda
