I don’t know about you but I had no idea what the word ‘tableau’ meant until I had to make an alliteration with the letter ‘t’.
Today was a day of little projects which I think adds up to a BIG deal!!
PROJECT #1
THE TRIM
We finished the pantry except for a couple of pieces of trim on the shelf supports we added to give the shelves a stronger support in the middle where there were no brackets.
We used a nail gun and nailed the trim into the supports. Here’s what it looks like now.
BEE-U-TIFUL!!
PROJECT #2
THE TOWELS
This is what my towels always look like in the kitchen!!
AAAHHHHHHH!
The LOML attached this great towel bar to the hidden side of the island under the counter so no one will see my ugly towels!!
LOVE IT!!!!
PROJECT #3
THE TABLEAU
The definition of ‘tableau’ is a picturesque grouping of persons or objects; a striking scene. Well, how appropriate that I am using this inspiration picture

I absolutely love pictures especially black and white. I bought a black curtain rod at Target, black ribbon with white polka dots from AC Moore to tie the frames onto the curtain rod, and a bunch of different size black frames.
My next project: to find my favorite pictures of the kiddos, print them in black and white, and hang those suckers up above my new black front door in the foyer. I think my ‘tableau” will look very sharp!
Hope y’all are enjoying your weekend!!
Love y’all,Linda
