We’re wrapping up the laundry room and it is looking better than I imagined.

The Two-Legged Table Strikes Again
Wow! I had a lot to say for such a little room. I hope you enjoy reading all about our journey to a beautiful laundry room.
After the last laundry room post, we finished putting casters on the bottom of the existing garbage can that will go under the two-legged table. Have I told y’all lately what a genius the LOML is? He figured out a way to make exactly what I pictured in my head.
I love it!!
I also made wooden labels for the new three bag hamper. The LOML cut three 2×4 pieces of wood and drilled a small hole at the end for the string. I spray painted them white, printed out each word in the size and font I wanted. Then I traced the word with a pencil onto the wood. I then used a paint pen to write the words. It came out better than I had hoped.
The only thing left to do is the laundry room door.
Here’s what it looked like when we bought it from the ReStore for $55.
Here it is with two coats of Valspar Signature in Semi-gloss New Black.
Next, I’ll frost the window and stencil “Laundry” and it will be done. The LOML decided we need to have a knowledgeable handyman to hang the door in place. It is so heavy and a little difficult to do if you’ve never done it before.
I’ll let you know how it goes and share pictures when it’s all hung.
Have a great weekend!
Love y’all,
Linda
