REMEMBERING A ROOM TRANSFORMATION ~ happy birthday!

Son #2 is a huge UNC Tarheels fan. I’m not sure why. Maybe because his older brother is a NC State Wolfpack fan.

He also loves the Baltimore Ravens.

Three years ago, on  Son #2’s 16th birthday, he went to school just like every other school day. Little did he know a plan had been put in place!! As soon as he left for school, the rest of the family got to work transforming his bedroom into his new UNC/Baltimore Ravens bedroom.

This is what the room looked like before.

 

 It was our yellow guest room. It was a beautiful, bright, cheery room.

We cleared the room out and painted the walls two different colors of blue. A light blue on two opposite walls. The other two walls navy blue.

We accessorized the photo gallery wall with some of Son #2’s favorite things.

His desk area where he’ll do lots of studying!

A personalized storage bin.

He came home earlier than expected so I didn’t get a picture of the “surprise face” but he was still surprised. He loved his new room! We had so much fun (at least I did!) making it his own special place.
