Happy Thanksgiving eve everybody! Are y’all having turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie? We sure are and I’m looking forward to feeding my family some good food!!
One room that some people can do without but I cannot is the
DINING ROOM
I love entertaining and having large and yummy meals with family and friends.
In my previous homes, the dining room color has always been navy blue so decorating our new dining room was easy because I kept it the same color. If you don’t know me, I’ll let you know now….
BLUE IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE COLOR!!
I had a lot of fun decorating this room.

We kept the dining room table that we bought for the previous house. It was a ReStore find that came with a set of six chairs that we had never used. They were stored in our old garage. We brought them into our new house and I recovered them with this beautiful flower material from Amazon.
I also found valances with the same print that I want to attach sheers to the bottom of and hang on the windows.
The table and chairs were aged and dusty with lots of worn spots so the LOML used this product and this product to bring out the dark wood grain. It looks brand new. Great job Honey!!
We replaced the old light grey carpet that one of our dogs loved to roll around on and sometimes have accidents on with this beautiful dark blue carpet.
We used to have a large china cabinet but we replaced it with a smaller buffet table so I had to figure out what to do with the large wall behind the buffet. I decided on these dark wood shelves to display glasses and pretty blue decor. They were very easy to hang.
The shelves hang on either side of this very colorful flower picture that matches the seat covers.
I had fun decorating the shelves and bringing everything together so this room is warm and welcoming.
I’m looking forward to having my family sitting around the dining table laughing, eating, and just enjoying time together.
I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you’re enjoying time with family and friends.
Love y’all,
Linda
