THE FOOD HAS ARRIVED ~if that’s what you call it

In my last post, I told y’all I’m trying the Nutrisystem diet plan because I’m disgusted by the fact that I have to put on a bathing suit soon. It’s not going to be a pretty picture unless I do something drastic! Can anyone say “Shamu”?

I wasn’t so excited to see him this time. I knew he was bringing my sugarless, healthy, NO chocolate food for the next month! YUCK! It is a very large box full of 28 breakfasts, 28 lunches, and 28 dinners plus some snacks and desserts and a diet planner.

On the commercial, Janet Jackson says the food is delicious. She lied!!! My first bowl of what looked like Cheerios (minus the taste) was not enjoyable! I’m allowed to have my hot tea every morning (thank goodness!). For lunch, I have a small bowl of something…yesterday it was chicken rotini soup with broccoli and today it was mashed potatoes with garlic and a little bit of broccoli. Both of them tasted exactly the same. Is that wrong?

I’m allowed to have protein shakes that they provide. It says chocolate but it’s a big fat lie! I know chocolate and there ain’t no chocolate in it! (sad face)

Hopefully, I’ll get used to it in the next month. I just need to get out of the bad habits I’ve gotten used to doing…desserts every night, snacking in between meals, etc.

I’ll let you know how it’s going.

Now onto the kitchen!

We finished the beadboard backsplash and we just finished hanging the trim around the beadboard.

Tomorrow we will caulk everything and paint everything white and

Have I mentioned that the LOML has done such a FANTASTIC job of taking my crazy brilliant ideas and bringing them into fruition (good word!)? I’m the idea person and the LOML will spend hours if not days figuring out how to do it perfectly. What a great team we are! I’m so thankful for such a smart, patient, wonderful man!
