The LOML and the fam worked diligently on the kitchen pantry yesterday!
We’ve been working on the pantry for a couple of weeks now. You can read about each stage below:
1) Inspiration
2) Removing wire shelves and filling holes
3) Painting and stenciling
4) Hanging the wood shelves
5) Still hanging the shelves
This weekend the LOML and Son #4 attached the front shelf supports between the shelves to make them stronger when we put all the goodies on them. We went back and forth on how to connect the supports to the shelves. We ended up using Son #2’s idea to use 3/4″ metal corner brackets like these.
As usual, we are pressured to finish (we always put WAY too much pressure on ourselves to get stuff done) because we are having visitors this week and I don’t want to be climbing over all the food and kitchen appliances that are splayed all over the kitchen island and dining room table and floor waiting for their HOME to be finished! Here’s the “almost” finished pantry!!
And my favorite……
THE BEFORE AND AFTER!
I have a couple of more little touches for the pantry and we are DONE!! I can’t wait to share them with y’all.
Hope you’re enjoying your week!
Thanks for coming by!
