Decorating a new space brings me such happiness!!

Sharing it with y’all also brings me happiness!! I hope you get some helpful ideas to do in your own spaces.

If you’ve followed my blog for any amount of time, you probably know I LOVE painting everything around me. Well, this dresser was begging for some color! It has been a dresser in the master bedroom, then a sofa table in the family room, and now a foyer table.

I have had great experiences using chalk paint on furniture. No sanding, no priming. You can’t beat that!

So I googled “blue chalk paint” and researched brands and read reviews and ended up buying Rustoleum Chalk Paint and Rustoleum Protective Top Coat on Amazon.

This paint was great to work with. It went on easy, dried in 2 hours. I painted two coats of the beautiful Coastal Blue color and two coats of the protective coat and it came out

Beautiful!!

We hung this large mirror from Wayfair above the dresser.

Greenery always adds a touch of warmth and nature indoors. But I do not have a brown thumb. As a matter of fact, I think I have a black thumb. I either over love it or ignore it! This faux tree fits just right in the corner and I can’t kill it!!

I love my new foyer table!!!!

Vignettes are a fun way to display family photos, flowers, candles and so much more!

The blue vase is just the right size for this large table. It’s so much prettier in person than when I ordered it on Amazon. I also bought a six pack of blue 8×10 frames that I can use all over the house.

The foyer is the first space that visitors see when they enter the house. A warm, beautiful space is an important first introduction to any home and I love mine!!!!!

I’m getting ready to decorate with fall decor for the first time in this house. I’m so excited to share it all with you!

Please come back and visit soon!

Love y’all,

Linda
